NO ARCHITECTS

Roberto Loeb’s exhibition proposal is structured around the testimony of 85 personalities, intellectuals and locals who share their relationship with architecture: the affective memory of each peron’s most significant spaces. The 200 m2 of the pavilion were filled with bilingual panels of personal accounts, speakers that went beyond speeches, transmission of local Sao Paolo city noises, and tables and chairs with books, some left blank for visitors to contribute their own stories. Here, the Brazilian pavilion in Venice took on the voice of not architects, but the urban community.
